COURSE OVERVIEW & CONTENT
The course aims to assist students to develop their individual illustrative skills in the field of fashion. Different ways of drawing and sketching various figures will be explored. The course would improve student’s confidence and ability in drawing to propose a variety of approaches to consider when illustrating fashion.
- Basic figure Drawing (Mechanical, Stick, Block, Flesh Figures)
- Drape Drawing on figures
- Fabric Rendering & Texturing
- Application of color mediums
- Study of various looks Casual, Formal, Sporty

PHASE 2 : CAD (DESIGN)
COURSE OVERVIEW & CONTENT
This phase begins with getting acquainted with the many features of the Graphics & CAD Software’s which is going to be the primary tool for fashion design. A fairly good understanding of the software will help you to translate all your creative ideas into great looking designs.
- Photoshop & Corel Draw Fundamentals
- Tracing techniques for Flat Sketch & Artworks
- Development of Inspiration Board, Color Board, Initial Sketches for any theme
- Making Fabric Textures & Repeats
- Flat Sketch Development for different type of garments
- Rendering techniques for Photographs & illustration figures
- Presentation Board Preparation
