Pearl Academy of Fashion opens admissions for TEXTILE CAD Certificate course
Chennai, May 16th, 2007: Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF) announced the admissions for the short term training programme in Textile CAD for its campus located in Chennai. This 12-day course commences from 28th May, 2007.
The purpose of this course is to provide complete knowledge about the upcoming textile designing trends and to train and equip technicians in all the designing areas in textiles, where computers are used. The objective of the programme is to widen the scope of textile designing in various aspects, such as artwork creation, originality, creativity, harmonization of colors, effect of repetition etc.
This certificate programme is specially designed to train textile professionals in Adobe Photoshop, Corel draw, Dobby Software, Jacquard Software, Pantone Software, Fabric Costing software and Scanners.

The modules in the training will be designing of artwork, history and classifications of textile designs, color theory and color modes in vector and raster based soft wares, motif creation, development of stitch used in embroidery fabrics and label designing amongst others.
